The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Grandmama

My grandmother perfectly embodied our family's sense of humor. She had multiple nicknames, plenty of old sayings, and was always involved in the joke, whether she was the originator or the occasional subject of my Dad or Uncle's fodder. 

Personally, she believed that I was perfect in everything I did, which, while far from the truth, always gave me the confidence to pursue my goals and dreams and be proud of what I did. 

Maudie had the "gift of gab", more than enough to go around, which is why anyone who came across her, in any phase of her life, loved interacting with her and undoubtedly left the conversation with a smile. I'm just really going to miss her warmth and personality. We had her for 92 years, an unbelievable life, and I have no doubt that she's keeping the chatter going and making new friends already.
