Life Story for Mary G. Kavanaugh


Mary "Maudie" G. Kavanaugh, 92, of Brewster NY passed away peacefully on October 29, 2016. She was born on March 24, 1924 to Mary Feerick (Nee Corrigan) and Michael Feerick. Mary graduated from Aquinas High School in the Bronx and married the love of Her life- Thomas A Kavanaugh, who predeceased her on July 11,1977.
She worked for the Town of Bedford for 17 years-where she made many friends. Mary was an avid Yankees fan, especially during the Bernie Williams era.
She is survived by her son Robert (Barbara), daughter-in-law Linda, grandchildren Taryn(Mattia) Buffolino, Kristen Kavanaugh, Brian Kavanaugh and great grandchildren Siena and Antonino Buffolino.
Mary was predeceased by her son, Thomas J. Kavanaugh.
The family would like to thank Mary's loving caretaker, Audrey, special aides Margaret and Pamela, we would also like to acknowledge Toni, for keeping Mom's "Do done"and her long time friendship.
Till we meet again, as Maudie would say "The Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise".
