The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edward Stark can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Alice. Belt
Condolence: Ed and Pete know (even now) how much they were cherished as best neighbors and amazing friends. I am sorry it took me so long to find what happened. It is not an excuse to blame my own health to be remiss If family looks at this site, be assured that both Pete and Ed were so proud of you.
I loved Pete and Ed. They were the best!!!!
PS. I have lived in east greenbush, ny for 7 yrs.

Condolence: I am so sorry to learn only now of Ed's passing, as our holiday card was returned. I would have wanted to be with the family to remember him. I was a member of the Roll-n-Roam trip in 1954, its second year. I kept in touch for years after, and then reconnected with Ed perhaps 15 years ago, speaking and seeing him occasionally, sometimes with my wife Barbara. My memories of Ed are captured in my photos from 1954, and that image didn't change even as I saw him succumbing to age in recent years. I remember Big Ed, the big smile, the big voice, the big heart - a summer experience I've never forgotten. Ed will always remain that way in my mind and in my heart.

Condolence From: Marea M Hurson
Condolence: I am proud and grateful to have known Ed and to have had him as a friend for the past 7 years. I met Ed when I was about 12 and he proved to be a formative influence on me. Although I was never one of his students, I see him as one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. I will always remember, admire, and aim to imitate Ed in both his fervor for life and his love of adventure. He is loved and deeply missed.
Deepest condolences,
Marea Hurson
