Life Story for Anthony Sepe

Anthony  Sepe
Anthony Sepe, a 23 year resident of Brewster, NY, died peacefully at Northern Westchester Hospital Center on Sunday, July 8, 2018 with his family surrounding him. He was 85 years old.
Anthony was Born on October 11, 1932 in the Bronx, NY, to Vincent and Louise (Nasta) Sepe. He was a graduate of the Bronx Vocational School with a certificate in Hairdressing. Anthony was owner operator and hair stylist for Salon La Dolce in Yonkers, NY for many years before working at Adam & Eve Salon in Scarsdale, NY and later at On Line Hair Design in Brewster, NY.
On June 23, 1957 Anthony married the love of his life, Katherine Magardino at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church in the Bronx, NY.
Anthony and Katherine raised their family in the Bronx and later moved to Brewster in 1995. From 1985 until 2015, they spent part of every year at their home in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Anthony grew up on Villa Avenue in the Bronx. He enjoyed the Villa Avenue Feast and was a member of the Assumption Society of Villa Avenue as well. He was an avid Yankees fan. He loved the sunshine and his home in Florida, along with boating and Bocce Ball. Anthony’s love for his family was paramount, they were truly the center of his life.
Besides his wife Katherine of 61 years, Anthony is survived by his three children, Vincent (Rosemarie) Sepe, Lisa (Bill) Visconti and Ann Marie (Paul) Primavera, all of Brewster, NY, two sisters, Carmella Cecere of Florida and Joan (Charles) Locurto of Mt. Kisco, NY. Seven grandchildren, Anthony, Kristina, Vincent, Alissa, Gina, Teresa and Paul. Also two great grandchildren on the way.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 12, 2018 10:00am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Interment following at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY. Friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster on Wednesday from 4 to 8pm. www.beecherfuneralhome.com
