Life Story for Frank A. Fortuso

Frank A. Fortuso, of Carmel, NY, died suddenly at Putnam Hospital Center on Saturday May 12, 2018. He was 43 years old.
Born on October 1, 1974 in Terrytown, NY son of Alma (Matthews) Jennings of Pennsylvania and Frank J. Fortuso of upstate New York. He graduated from Mamaroneck High School in 1991. Following his graduation from high school he moved to Carmel.
Frank was a deli worker at Arthur Avenue Deli in Carmel, NY and was also a plumber’s assistant. On December 18, 2010 he married Varvara Nikadzimava in Patterson, NY.
Frank lived for his three children; they were his everything and he was theirs. He enjoyed fishing and teaching his children sports. Spending time with them is what kept him strong and going in life.
Frank is not only survived by his parents and his wife, but also his three children; Frank A. Fortuso, Jr., Angelina R. Fortuso and Anthony A. Fortuso. He will be greatly missed by his many friends.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30am at St. James the Apostle Church, Carmel, NY. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Beecher Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements, www.beecherfuneralhome.com
The family is requesting donations to be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
